Steps to Rent an Apartment:

1.  View our properties at http://cbusbestrentals.com/propertylistings.html.  Be sure to check out the photos and videos!*


2.  Attend a showing by calling 614-407-5939 or emailing cbusbestrentals@gmail.com to arrange a time to view a unit.


3.  Apply to rent a unit:

     a.  Submit an online application at http://cbusbestrentals.com/rentalapplication.html.

     b.  Submit legible, color copies of 2 photo IDs (a state license and school ID are preferred) by emailing to cbusbestrentals@gmail.com.

     c.  Submit your $25 application fee via Credit Card or PayPal by clicking the Pay Now button below**:

2. Attend a showing by calling 719-337-3762 or emailing cbusbestrentals@gmail.com to arrange a time to view a unit.

3. Apply to rent a unit:
a. Submit an online application at http://cbusbestrentals.com/rentalapplication.html.
b. Submit legible, color copies of 2 photo IDs (a state license and school ID are preferred) by emailing to cbusbestrentals@gmail.com.
c. Submit your $50 application fee at http://www.rentpayment.com/.

4. Receive approval.  Applications are reviewed and future residents are notified (typically within 2 days of application submittal).

5. Receive and review lease.  At the time we notify you of approval, we will also email you your lease.

6. Sign and return lease.  Sign and return your lease to us.  Leases can be returned via email: cbusbestrentals@gmail.com or fax: 734-557-3979.

7. Submit security deposit at http://www.rentpayment.com/.  Security deposits must be paid in full within 2 days of submitting lease to reserve the unit.

8. Receive final lease.  The leases will be signed by us and then emailed back to you.

9. Return Guaranty to Lease within 4 days of receiving final lease:
a. Each resident must have one of his/her parents (Guarantor) submit a Guaranty to Lease.
b. Guarantor shall read signed lease.
c. Guarantor shall print Guaranty to Lease and then complete, sign and have it notarized.
d. Guarantor shall submit Guaranty to Lease and copy of driver’s license to cbusbestrentals@gmail.com.
e. Please note: we hold your guarantor responsible only for a fractional amount of the rental and other obligations. Your guarantor’s liability is NOT joint.

*Note:  If you decide to rent from us based on the info, photos and videos available online, you are welcome to submit an application prior to viewing a unit in-person.  This method is preferred by some students since applications are accepted and reviewed on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

6.  Sign lease.  Sign your lease.  Leases will be prepared and sent via the electronic signing service called DocuSign. You will be able to sign the documents easily from any computer or mobile device.

 

7.  Submit security deposit at http://www.rentpayment.com/ at time of lease signing to hold the unit.

 

8.  Return Guaranty to Lease within 3 days of lease signing:

     a.  Each resident must have a parent or guardian (Guarantor) submit a Guaranty to Lease.

     b.  Guarantor shall read signed lease.

     c.  Guarantor shall print Guaranty to Lease and then complete, sign and have it notarized.

     d.  Guarantor shall submit Guaranty to Lease and copy of driver’s license to cbusbestrentals@gmail.com.
